Give an Indian spicy twist to your regular lamb fillet roast with Patak’s® Hot Mango Chutney. This is a wonderful way to up the flavor of your Sunday lunch. Try it!

Hot Mango Chutney

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp Patak’s® Hot Mango Chutney
  • 4 lamb fillet steaks
  • 1 tbsp garlic paste
  • 1 tsp crushed black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 5 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Blend the Patak’s Hot Mango Chutney to a fine puree.
  2. Add the garlic paste, Dijon mustard, black pepper, salt, and oil to this puree and mix well.
  3. Use this mixture to and smear the lamb fillets well until it coats it evenly and let it marinate for a couple of hours.
  4. Bake the lamb at 400°F under medium heat for 10 minutes for a pink center or longer for a well-done finish.
  5. Serve with a side of any salad or roasted vegetables

Notes

If you enjoy milder taste, use Patak’s® Sweet Mango Chutney instead or for ginger notes use Patak’s® Major grey Chutney.
