Is there anything better than a delicious meal that’s easy to make? This spicy mango and curry dish is full of tantalizing flavors that are sure to give a burst of flavor to any meal.

Recipe calls for


  • ½ cup Patak’s® Sweet Mango Chutney
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 jalapeno, seeded and finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 lb chicken drumsticks, bone in
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper, freshly ground
  • 2 cups shredded coleslaw mix
  • 3 tbsp creamy coleslaw dressing
  • 1 green onion, sliced (garnish)


  1. In a small bowl, stir together the Patak’s® Sweet Mango Chutney, the lime juice, the jalapeno and the garlic until blended. Set aside. 
  2. Preheat the grill to medium and grease the grill. 
  3. Season the drumsticks with salt and pepper. 
  4. Grill the chicken 15 min, turning occasionally. Reduce heat to low, baste the chicken with the chutney glaze and cook for another 15 to 20 min, turning and basting occasionally. 
  5. Meanwhile, toss the shredded coleslaw mix with the dressing. 
  6. Ensure that the chicken is cooked to at least 165°F internally. 
  7. Serve the chicken with a side of coleslaw, garnished with green onions.
