The spice mixes vary depending on the product. The spice mixes on our products may contain in varying proportions: Asafetida, Cardamom, Chili (Capsicum annuum), Cinnamon, Clove, Cilantro, Cumin, Curry Leaf, Fennel, Fenugreek, Ginger, Mustard (allergen)*, Nutmeg, Paprika, Black Pepper, Star Anise, Turmeric.

* Mustard is considered a priority food allergen in some countries, so we include it on all our labels when it is added to the recipe.

Patak's^® has a great range of products that are suitable for vegetarians, but please refer to the product information on the label.

Patak's^® products use Canola oil rather than Palm oil.

Most of our products do not contain artificial flavors, colors or preservatives; however, please refer to the label of each product for full details.

Before being opened, Patak's^® Cooking Sauces should be stored at room temperature, but once opened the product should be used immediately. If the spare sauce is transferred into a clean plastic food container with a sealable lid it may be stored for 24 hours in the fridge before following the original label's cooking instructions.

Once the Patak's^® product has been cooked up following the label cooking instructions, the meal can be frozen. Please refer to the manufacturer of your freezer for instructions and storage duration.

No. The product must not be consumed uncooked; this is because Patak's^® pastes are made with some unprocessed spices.

Garlic is an essential ingredient in our range of sauces and pastes. But please refer to the label for the full list of ingredients.

All Patak's^® Cooking Sauces contain onion, as well as many of our Spice Pastes.
